The blocks nearby are also the locations of many foreign consulates .

If you start from here and go straight forward to the cross Hengshan Rd ,which is famous for Bar and entertainment places, HengShan Metro Station is in five minutes walk on your left hand's direction.
The restaurant was invested by a pop singer(Jeff Chang) who got his peak season in 1990s from Taiwan.
He firstly invested the restaurant with same name in Taiwan for he was also a gourmet and a antique collectioner.
Two years after his first restaurant got success in Taiwan, he invested to build a branch in Shanghai and asked a famous architect called Deng KunYan to design the whole restaurant project in 2000.
This genius architect did give us an astonishing work.
The wood-made floor in the restaurant was originally on a warehouse in the riverside of SuZhou River in 1930s.
And he used glass as the wall of second floor . So the customers could have a whole view of surrounding European-style historic buildings during their meals.Those antiques inner the restaurant are the collections from the owner.
The restarant mainly serves Japanese style cuisine. It is said that the singer himself would taste every dish's flavor and give a passing grade before their names showed on the menu.
The first floor is also a night bar club which mainly offers fine red wine in late night.
The calligraphy of Chinese Character you could see on its front door named :three thousand. In Buddhism , it means unlimited capacity.
